2. Review Your Documents in Advance
Make sure all documents are:

- Ready for notarization
Do not sign or date documents before the notary arrives.
3. Confirm All Signers Will Be Present
If your documents require multiple signers, ensure everyone is available at the appointment time with their IDs.
4. Know What Type of Notarization You Need
If possible, know whether your document requires:
- An Acknowledgment
- A Jurat (oath/affirmation)
- Or another type of notarization
If you’re unsure, you may need to check with the document issuer or an attorney, as notaries cannot provide legal advice.
